Terra Firma magazine was founded by Sophie Willison in 2015 and is still going strong almost 10 years later. The international arts magazine is published annually and over that time it has provided a platform for over 250 artists worldwide.

Terra Firma extended beyond an annual magazine and from 2018-2023 published an annual diary. A functional diary that also featured as a collaborative art project between Sophie and selected artists.

 

Terra Firma has participated in a multitude of book fairs, from VOLUME - Australia, Paris Ass Book Fair - France, A Bigger Book Fair - London to name a few. 

 

Alongside the annual output of the magazine, Terra Firma has devised various creative workshops from 'Alternative photography' to 'Making your own magazine'.

 

Terra Firma magazine has most recently launched their 9th issue ‘I’m so gay for you’, which launched at Milosc Gallery, London on Valentines Day 2025 and at Lucia's Lounge, Sydney in October 2025..
